IESCO Notifies Power Suspension Programme

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced a scheduled power suspension programme for Wednesday, citing essential maintenance and routine development work across multiple areas in its operational region.

According to an official statement, electricity supply will remain temporarily suspended in selected locations of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Attock circles during different time slots.

Areas Affected in Islamabad Circle

Power supply will remain suspended from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm in the following feeders:

  • Kund Rajgan

  • Scheme-II

  • King Hammad

  • Chatta Bakhtawar

  • CM Pak

  • Zong Feeders

Residents in these areas are advised to plan their activities accordingly during the outage window.

Power Suspension in Rawalpindi Cantt Circle

Several feeders in Rawalpindi Cantt Circle will face power suspension due to maintenance work, including:

  • Old Rawat

  • New Rawat

  • AOWHS

  • Supraco

  • CWO

  • IST

  • Rehmatabad

  • Rehmatabad-II

  • Jail Park

  • Kot Jabbi

  • Macca Chowk

  • Bostan Khan Feeders

The suspension will follow the scheduled maintenance timeline announced by IESCO.

Attock Circle: Extended Outage Planned

In Attock Circle, electricity supply will remain suspended from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm in the following areas:

  • Bahlot

  • Lala Rukh

  • Hussain Abad

  • Munir Abad

  • POF Emergency Feeders

Consumers in these localities may experience a longer outage due to development-related work.

GSO Circle and Surrounding Areas

IESCO also confirmed that GS Bhagwal and nearby areas under the GSO Circle will remain without power from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

IESCO Apologizes to Consumers

IESCO management has issued an apology to its customers for the inconvenience caused by the planned outage. The utility company added that electricity supply may be restored earlier than the scheduled time if maintenance work is completed ahead of schedule.
